Senior Town Planner

Jyothi joined the Keen family as a Graduate Planner in October 2022 after completing a Master of Urban Design at RMIT University.

Since joining us, Jyothi has worked across a diverse range of projects, providing planning advice and managing planning application processes for a broad client base. She has developed particular expertise in commercial developments, including medical centres, childcare centres and veterinary clinics; industrial developments such as transfer stations and materials recycling facilities; and multi-unit residential developments. She is experienced in assessing development potential, navigating complex planning frameworks and delivering practical planning solutions that achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Prior to relocating to Melbourne in 2020, Jyothi practised as an architect and interior designer in India, where she worked on residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments. Her background in architecture provides her with a strong understanding of the design process and enables her to effectively collaborate with clients, architects and consultants throughout the planning process.

Jyothi’s combined experience in architecture, urban design and town planning has equipped her with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a practical, design-focused approach to development.

Outside of work, Jyothi enjoys playing badminton, Pilates classes and exploring Victoria on day trips.
